Couples Therapy
Get compassionate online support for your relationship with registered psychotherapist, Jessy Boudreau.
What Is Couples Therapy?
Couples therapy is a supportive, structured space where you and your partner can slow down, communicate more clearly, and understand each other on a deeper level. Instead of getting stuck in the same patterns or arguments, therapy helps you explore what’s happening beneath the surface so you can reconnect, repair, and move forward with clarity and intention.
Common Relationship Challenges
Communication breakdowns and misunderstandings
Recurring conflict or arguments that keep looping
Emotional distance or disconnection
Challenges with intimacy and emotional closeness
Trust issues or past betrayals
Stress from life transitions or major changes
LGBTQ+ Inclusion & Gender Support
Jessy provides a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Therapy respects and honours your unique experiences, relationship structures, and identity. Whether you are exploring your identity, navigating challenges specific to LGBTQ+ relationships, or seeking support for gender-related concerns, Jessy offers compassionate, non-judgmental guidance to help you build understanding, connection, and resilience.
How Couples Therapy Helps
Couples therapy helps you:
Understand unmet needs and emotions driving conflict
Improve communication and reduce defensiveness
Strengthen trust, emotional safety, and connection
Navigate challenges with curiosity rather than blame
Build healthier patterns that support long-term closeness
Jessy integrates mindfulness, attachment-based principles, and structured dialogue to help partners feel heard, validated, and understood. Sessions move at a pace that supports both partners, offering a balance of reflection, tools, and meaningful conversation.
Our Approach
I believe therapy should feel comfortable and down to earth. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. You can expect that I’ll show up authentically in each session, giving you permission to bring your whole Self too.
At the core of my work is a foundation of mindfulness and self-compassion. These are approaches that invite you to understand yourself, rather than judge yourself. Through this lens, healing becomes less about “fixing” and more about coming home to who you truly are.
